Phlebotomy Workshop Training Approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. Earn a certificate of completion in a 1-day, 8-hour seminar. After earning your certificate of completion you have the option of testing through MedCa, a nationwide accepted certification. The phlebotomy seminar cost only $200. Testing through MedCa, is an additional $105 dollars. Depending upon a facility’s need they have been known to hire phlebotomists with only a certificate of completion.
